Art Magnet

The Fine Arts Magnet program at Northeast Magnet High School offers an immersive experience in both visual and performing arts. Our program nurtures students' skills, creativity, and passion, whether in drawing, painting, ceramics, sculpture, band, orchestra, choir, or theater.

The Visual Arts Program is ideal for students considering a career in a visual arts field, pursuing an art major in college, or seeking personal fulfillment through art. Students complete at least six art classes, progressing from introductory to advanced levels, with a focus in one of six areas: Drawing, Ceramics, Photography, Painting, Sculpture, or Graphic Design. They build a diverse portfolio that showcases their growth and versatility.

In the performing arts, students gain experience in music, theater, and performance, participating in ensembles and stage productions. Collaboration, communication, and creativity are key to their success.
