Just like our Caring Teachers and Staff, Northeast Parents are highly involved in their child's education and academic progress. To help ensure this NEM has:

  • Weekly progress reports with current grades and important information.

  • A small school environment with less than 560 students enrolled.

  • A focused Magnet area curriculum.

  • ACT test preparation, college planning, & visits from many colleges nation wide.

  • Monthly Site Council meetings.

Progress Reports

Progress reports are given out EVERY WEDNESDAY
during Advocacy.

Parents are encouraged to be active in

checking their child's grades each week.

If you are not receiving weekly reports

from your student, call the office and

we will have a copy of the progress

report available for you.

Parents can check grades on-line as well.

Senior Parents:  We need your help!  Many of you have been meeting on a regular basis to plan for Project Graduation.  The plans are great but financial help is needed.

You've been asked to donate

$100 for your senior student so

that enough money is available

to make graduation night a safe

and fun event.  Please contribute

to this very important cause

either with your donation or

with help in planning and

organizing.  The seniors are

counting on you!

Email zrash@usd259.net

if you have any questions

or concerns.

Base School Information

The base school is the school in which the student would attend if he/she was not at Northeast Magnet.

Many NEM students attend their base school for athletics.

We encourage all of our students to work with their base school to

                                                        become involved in athletics,

                                                          cheerleading, and other activities.

                                                            Northeast offers bussing to

                                                              transport students to their base

                                                               school after school each day.

                                                               Contact the NEM administration

                                                                if you have any questions

                                                                regarding base school activities.
